Privacy policy
(Draft) — Last updated 28 October 2026
(01)Who we are
Cilouette.co is a clothing label run by Curtis [surname], [trading name and address]. We decide how your information is used, which makes us the “controller” under UK data protection law.
Questions or requests: [contact email].
(02)What we collect
If you join the launch list: your email address, or your UK mobile number if you chose text messages. Nothing else is required.
With it we record when you joined, the language you used and the consent wording you agreed to, so we can show you agreed.
We don't ask for your name, address or payment details on this site. Those are only collected at checkout when the store opens.
(03)Why we use it
To tell you when the pieces launch and send your 10% code, then occasional news from the brand. We only do this because you ticked the box to agree (your consent).
You can withdraw at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or reply STOP to any text. It takes effect straight away.
(04)Who handles it for us
Klaviyo stores the list and sends our emails and texts. Klaviyo is based in the United States; transfers are protected by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Cloudflare hosts this website. It processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
We never sell your information or share it for other companies' marketing.
(05)How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe. If you stop opening our messages, we delete your details after 24 months.
(06)Cookies and storage
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site remembers, for the current visit only, that you've already seen the opening, so it doesn't play again.
If we add advertising tools later, we'll ask for your permission first.
(07)Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [contact email] and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Visitors in Taiwan are also protected by Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act.
(08)Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Significant changes will be emailed to the list.
